SFC Daniel Jamieson has attained international recognition for his work as a composer, arranger, and conductor. He is also an accomplished woodwind specialist. His 2011 debut release, Sudden Appearance, featuring the Danjam Orchestra, placed him at the forefront of current big band leaders. SFC Jamieson has conducted concerts, radio broadcasts, recordings, and television broadcasts. He has collaborated with Joe Lovano, Joshua Redman, Kurt Elling, Marcus Miller, Ingrid Jensen, Anthony Hamilton, Vince Mendoza, John Riley, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the WDR Big Band and the Metropole Orchestra. SFC Jamieson has worked with Broadway stars such as Jake Epstein, Alison Fraser, Harriet Harris, Richard Kind, Tony Yazbeck, as well as Emmy-winning producer Jeffrey Lesser and Tony-winning orchestrator Larry Hochman. SFC Jamieson holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Music degree from the Manhattan School of Music. SFC Jamieson is originally from Toronto, Canada.
